Situated in rural Stirlingshire – just 20 miles north of Glasgow/20 miles west of Stirling – Art4You Scotland offers a wide variety of friendly and inclusive art classes that are suitable for all abilities.

Ballochruin Farm is a scenic and inspiring backdrop for an art studio, and in good weather it is possible to head outside with an easel and capture the essence of a Scottish pastoral landscape. Within the bright Art4Scotland studio, up to 12 individuals can have fun trying a variety of art techniques and mediums, with each person positively encouraged to express their individuality and to find the fun in art. Led by painter and art lecturer Ewen Duncan, the team at Ballochruin can help every budding artist to develop their personal technique and style.

Classes are friendly, and there is usually some lively banter to accompany the tea and biscuits. Whether you are an experienced artist, haven’t painted since High School or think drawing a stick figure might be challenge enough, the focus for every class is fun and enjoyment.

Art4You Scotland can offer fluent German and basic French for holiday visitors attending our painting holidays, and art short breaks in Scotland. There are many alternative activities (cycling, horse riding, golfing, fishing, hill walking, distilleries, etc) nearby for partners or family members with interests outside painting or drawing. The local villages Balfron, Killearn and Fintry also offer country cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as local galleries and gift shops. The main cities Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling are all easily accessible by car within 30 minutes to an hour.
