Go Ape, Aberfoyle, is on the prowl for boys and girls in the west of Scotland who might fancy swinging through the trees to celebrate Go Ape’s 10th birthday this year.

The outdoor forest adventure is preparing to celebrate a decade of adventures in Stirlingshire’s Queen Elizabeth Forest Park on 11th June 2017 and is offering children who turn 10 this year the chance to swing into double digits with a rite-of-passage trip to the experience.

One lucky child who was born in 2007 will win a Go Ape Tree Top Adventure for up to 10 family and friends, where they will be able to explore the forest from a new perspective and experience nature in the tree canopy high above the ground.

They will have the chance to unleash their inner Ape in the great outdoors, flying down zip wires, leaping off Tarzan swings and navigating obstacles, crossings and rope bridges set amidst some of the country’s most breath-taking scenery.

Steven McGirr, Site Manager at Go Ape Aberfoyle, said:

“Turning 10 is a major milestone for children and what better way to celebrate our own special birthday than to offer the chance to win a 10th birthday day out at Go Ape.  Over the last decade we’ve been encouraging people to live life adventurously and we look forward to welcoming the winner and their tribe.”

Go Ape Aberfoyle has just become a dual course which has doubled the size and level of adventure within Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.  The whole site has undergone a complete transformation with the addition of two giant Tarzan swings, two high speed cross-valley zip lines and a bold skateboard zip wire.  The course is home to two of Britain’s longest zip wires, each stretching over 400m long, flying people 150 feet above the ground and over a 90 foot waterfall.

At Go Ape you can make the most of the beautiful forest locations after your adventure.  The tribe can look forward to having a picnic, building a den, hunting for bugs and exploring the rest of the forest by bike or on foot.

Go Ape prices range from £33 for a gorilla (aged 16 and over) to £25 for a baboon (aged 10 to 15).  For further information and to book a Go Ape adventure visit www.goape.co.uk
