Some Familiar Comic & Fantasy characters are Visiting Loch Lomond
Comic Con, the event celebrating comics and fantasy characters, is coming to Loch Lomond for the first time – and there is a lot of excitement from fans.

Organisers are expecting tens of thousands of visitors at the free event when Comic Con Loch Lomond takes place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October at Loch Lomond Shores.
Action Figures, And More
Traders and comic fans from all over Scotland will be able to buy and sell comics and graphic novels, action figures and toys, as well as comic-inspired fan art and home decorations. There will be something for all the family, with kid’s activities as part of the entertainment, as well as a bar serving refreshments for the adults in attendance.
This is the first event of this kind in the area, and we’ve been completely taken aback by the level of interest in it. We can’t wait to see it – and we’re particularly looking forward to seeing costume characters down at the lochside.
Loch Ness might have Nessie, but Loch Lomond has superheroes and Star Wars stormtroopers!

This is the first time anyone’s brought Comic Con to Loch Lomond, and we’re really looking forward to it. There’s been a great response from comic fans, cos players and families looking for a day out.
We’re expecting a good turnout. As well the other activities, visitors will be able to try out a Samsung VR head set, and we’ll have the Scottish Imperial Squad and the Rebel Legion UK there for the weekend as well.
